He has brilliantly helped ease our frustrations mostly over my daughter, when writing Nehir's personal statement and making her top three choices. … I cannot thank Guy enough for his ever kind, genuinely comforting, and illuminating approach.

Both my children were applying to British universities from a foreign school. Guy was an enormous help and support to both of them in different ways: choosing universities where they could be happy, help with the application form, preparing for an OxBridge interview - and of course the final choice of which offer to accept.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind?
Just ask Guy ↗

Can you help if I haven’t started my personal statement?

Yes. We can start with a conversation about your subject, interests, studies, and experiences, then work out which examples will give you a useful starting point.

Will you write my personal statement for me?

No. Your statement needs to be your own work and reflect your voice. Guy helps you develop your ideas, improve the structure, and refine your draft with feedback.

How does the current UCAS personal statement work?

For 2026 entry onwards, there are three answers covering your motivation, preparation through study, and preparation outside education. There is a shared limit of 4,000 characters including spaces, with a minimum of 350 per answer. Our free guide helps you plan all three; check the final text in UCAS before submitting.

Do you work with international students and parents?

Yes. The service supports students applying to UK universities from the UK and overseas. Parents are welcome to be part of the initial conversation.

How much does personal statement support cost?

The initial consultation is free. Paid support is tailored to your needs, so contact Guy to discuss the scope and fees before deciding whether to go ahead.

Can you guarantee an offer?

No adviser can guarantee an offer. The aim is to help you make informed choices and present a thoughtful application; admissions decisions rest with universities.
